And It's Not Even Winter Yet!

We have about 2' of snow on the ground. After the first storm, we've had sond the me cold weather (it was -6 below zero the morning I ran out to the barn, in my boxers, to get some fire wood---how's that for some difficult mental imagery!), and with this late Fall storm, it caught me off guard and I did not have the ice rink up yet (I don't usually do that until around Dec 10). Well, we'll have to see what kind of weather Providence has in store for us! I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed playing with the kids outside! That wonderful photographer of the picture of Heather and me is none other than Christina!

The sunset was beautiful because half the sky was dark, dark crystal blue, but the other side was storm clouds, and from the distance, I could see snow falling. Within 10 minutes or so, the snow reached us and gave us another few inches. It was just beautiful...as well as fun with Michaleen burying himself or running through snow too deep for him!

Well, Sean and Christina are certainly becoming expert snowman builders, and I'm sure we'll get lots more practice this winter!

Thomas,
The creek looks so neat all covered in show, I hope you guys can see it next spring when there is lots and lots of water rushing!
