With the setting up of our very first "Christmas Town", as well as cutting down and decorating our tree, coupled with the weatherman's prediction of a foot of snow tonight...it is beginning to feel like that wonderful Christmas spirit is descending upon Orrington! We had a fun time picking out our Christmas tree, with wind chill well below zero, the hot apple cider went down smoothly, and our much too big Christmas tree made it into the house!

It's beginning to look a lot like....

you are so handsome under the tree, Petey!
Great shots and a beautiful tree. All you needed was a coating of snow (which I guess you're getting today!) I would love to do a Christmas Town of our own someday. I think the boys would like to make a Lego Christmas Town complete with train!
Hey...what's Shrek doing under your tree??? ;p
Shrek the halls!
update: we ended up with about 18" of snow here in Orrington!
Lucky!
We got another covering last night that looks like powdered sugar. Can't complain though...some years we don't even get that.
Friday night and we are in the midst of a few more inches. We just went for a walk up Kings Mountain in the softly falling snow, what a treat!
